Nobel Peace Prize Nomination Council
In accordance with § 3, no. 3 of the "Special Regulations for the award of the Nobel Peace Prize and the Norwegian Nobel Institute, etc. adopted by the Nobel Committee of the Norwegian Storting* on the 10th day of April in the year 1905 (including amendments of 1977, 1991, 1994, 1998 and 2000)" governing the Nobel Peace Prize Nomination process, the American International University of Science & Theology (AIUST) has exercised its powers and established a distinguished Selection Council entrusted with the responsibility of identifying and nominating worthy candidates for the Nobel Peace Prize.
This Council, chaired by the University President, Prof. Dr. Dr. Andreas Huber, reflects AIUST’s commitment to academic excellence, ethical responsibility, and the advancement of global peace.
Each year, the Council carefully reviews and evaluates potential laureates from around the world—leaders, organizations, and visionaries whose contributions embody the spirit of peace, reconciliation, and human dignity.
Through this solemn and prestigious duty, AIUST underscores its role as a global institution of higher learning, deeply engaged in fostering intercultural dialogue, interreligious understanding, and the promotion of lasting peace.

Nobel Peace Prize Nomination for 2026
AIUST participated in the formal nomination procedure through the official secure digital submission system provided to authorized nominators.
For the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize cycle, AIUST submitted its official nomination in accordance with the rules and procedures governing this process, and received confirmation of successful submission via the official Nobel Peace Price system.
All information regarding nominees remains confidential, in compliance with the statutory framework of the Norwegian Nobel Institute.
This accomplishment reflects AIUST’s institutional commitment to scholarship, peacebuilding, intercultural understanding, and the advancement of the common good through recognized international mechanisms.
